Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. We do not retain or log those query terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We retain an email or other direct message as needed to respond. It is kept within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive limited technical information when a page loads:
- Page-view times and the pages visited

- The referring site, when available

- Time spent on pages
- The device's IP address
Cookies and Analytics

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Our pages explain how to reach MCSO, Montgomery County courts, TBI Criminal Justice Information Services, and the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry. Public access to government records is governed by the Tennessee Public Records Act, TCA §§10-7-501 et seq., including access and confidentiality provisions in TCA §§10-7-503 and 10-7-504. Those government records are not stored here. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA, and visitor data is not turned into consumer reports or third-party dossiers.
